In all the excitement yesterday of sharing my week's list and talking about goals I forgot to list my goals for the week.
So, here they are the 3 goals for this week:
- Complete at least 60% of this week's list---I know that number is low, but I want my goals to manageable remember.
- Workout at least 3 times this week
- Start using my dslr

Last week, I started up my to-do list again. I must say I was not completely successful in completing everything on my list. But I did get half the list done, which isn't all that bad--10 out 20 is decent.
Here is this weeks list:

The day did not start out as planned. The little Princess woke up early--an hour too early. And of course, it just so happened that the night before I went to bed a little too late. We were both feeling a little off because of the early mornng. Tuesdays we have Mommy and Me; and as of late we have been hitting one roadblock after another...we have missed 2 months and I miss it and I think she does too. I can tell how much she loves it. Anyways, we didn't make it today...which really bummed me out. I tried really hard, but the little Princess was being just that--a princess. She wouldn't let me get ready. She just wanted me to hold her and so I did just that. When she was finally ok with me putting her down, we headed out to Target--I didn't want the whole day to be a bust. We had a nice time. We got the essentials and she was a rockstar the whole time...smiling at people as we walked down the aisles. We were having some great girl time together. After Target we headed back home for some lunch and then we went out again to run a few more errands. I felt like I got a lot done, but when I came home and looked at my list. I realized that I had only done one thing on my list. Thats the problem with lists, sometimes you forget to write down "the little things" and then when spend a whole day catching up on "the little things" you come home feeling accomplished. But then you take a look at your list and you start to feel a little deflated because after such a long day, all you do is cross off one little thing off your list. I started to wallow in my unproductiveness, but then I realized it was ok. It's ok to have an "unproductive day"--a day spent doing the little things because even the little things are important. And in the end, as long as my kids and my husband are ok, then I'm ok too.

I have been forgetting so much lately...I feel like I have pregnancy brain all over again. It's horrible. Einstein will tell me we have to do something for school and I totally forget...it's almost like it goes in one ear and out the other. I seriously feel like I am losing my mind. So I decided to go back to making a list again. There is just something so satsifying when you cross off an item on your list.
And so here is my list--once I started writing, I just couldn't stop...I have so much to do and so much to catch up on. There is alot on this list, but I am giving myself till Friday to finish everything. We'll see how much I get done.
A little sleep update: Both Einstein and my little Princess slept the whole night through without waking each other up! I'm a happy momma.
